The State of Osun chapter of Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, NASME has declared its support for the second time in office for Governor Rauf Aregbesola to be able to achieve his mission to fully develop the state.
The association made the declaration at the end of their monthly meeting where they appraised the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, describing as a purposeful and proactive government which is attending to necessity of the people of the state.
The state chapter of NASME joined other individuals, groups and organisations who have given a node for the current administration in the state of Osun to continue its good works.
This is not without consideration vast achievements recorded by Aregbesola's administration in the last two and half years in the areas of security, education, provision and expansion of infrastructural development.
According to the secretary of the Association, Mr. Ganiyu Ibikunle, the Nigeria Association of Small and Medium, NASME, State of Osun chapter observed that the security network put in place by Aregbesola's administration has guaranteed a safe environment to work and do business.
Mr. Ibikunle said, the association recognises efforts of the state government investment in developing infrastructure such as construction of road network across the state, re-introduction of rail service and construction of MKO Abiola Airport among other as catalysts to attracting foreign investors to the state.
He also lauded government gesture by strengthening cooperative system to meet the need and aspirations of Small and Medium Enterprises with Osun- Private Equity Fund, OPEF which is in the pipe line.
He said the state has recorded tremendous progress in market development, promotion of functional education, massive youth employment and provision of water for domestic and industrial needs.
According to NASME, construction of various markets of international standard across the state is a direct intervention needed to attract capital inflow into the state while introduction of Opon-Imo and other revolutionary steps in education sector are investment in modern technology and human development.
While observing that youth engagement is accounting for unprecedented peaceful atmosphere in the state, the association considers the endorsement the Grand Patron of NASME, who is Governor Rauf Aregbesola for second term in office.
It then enjoined the people of the state to ensure that governor Aregbesola returns as the governor of the state in 2014 to achieve his mission of taking the state to an enviable height.
