Some parents damage their children’s confidence more than strangers do 💔
A stranger’s hurtful words may sting for a moment.
but a parent’s words can stay in a child’s heart for years🥺💯
Many children just like me grow up hearing things like;
“You can’t do anything right,” “Look at your mates,” or “You’re not good enough," "your mouth is too long."😓
Over time, these words become the voice they hear in their heads, even as adults.✨😭
Some people struggle with low self-esteem today, not because of what strangers said, but because of constant criticism, comparison, and lack of encouragement at home.😥
Parents are a child’s first mirror.
The way they speak to their children often shapes how those children see themselves💯
A child who is always corrected but rarely praised may start believing they will never be good enough.
The worst part is that, some parents don’t realize the damage their words can cause😭💔
Children need correction, but they also need encouragement.
Simple words like “I believe in you,” “I’m proud of your effort,” and “You can do it” can build confidence and change a child’s life💯
Before speaking to a child today eh🤗
Ask yourself: Are my words building them up or breaking them down? ❤️
If you know that the answer is on the negative, please change today because what you plant as words today with geminate as their strong belief 💯
