I'M WRITING THIS to answer a question I've been frequently asked---WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO START A BUSINESS?
Does it take Passion? Does it take Talent? Does it take Expertise? Does it take Money or Capital funds?
Here's the answer...
It does not take any of those to start a business. What it takes to kick-start a business is "PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION(Your ability to identify a specific problem buffeting a lot of people)!!!
Here's why...
If people don't have needs or wants, there's no problem, which eventually mean that's no need for value creation.
Business is simply established to solve an identified problem---to provide solution through value creation and systems.
A business is simply an organisation that helps provide solution to a specific problem that a lot of people are having for which payment is made for value creation/provision...
That means you are in business to solve a problem or to meet an unmet need. Profit is only a reward for standing in that gap!
When it comes to business, think problem---Unsolved pain or unmet need around you or in the society.
Let this be your compass for starting a worthwhile business...(By Paul Graham) ---
" Make something people want. There's nothing more valuable than an unmet need that is just becoming fixable. If you find something broken that you can fix for a lot of people, you've found a goldmine. " - Paul Graham
Identification of a specific problem buffeting a lot of people is what it takes to start a business. The other things are for running and scaling the business.
I believe this has helped you!
