Before its incorporation as a limited company, it operated as a department within First Bank of Nigeria Plc offering Share Register Administratio
n Services to Corporate Bodies and State Governments. It later became a fully owned subsidiary of the bank with the registered name - First Registrars Nigeria Limited. Consequently upon the resolution passed at the Court-Ordered-Meeting of the Bank in December 2012, First Bank divested its entire holdings in First Registrars and a couple of other subsidiaries in line with CBN directives leading to the re-positioning of First Registrars into a privately held company. The company is still manned by a highly dynamic and innovative management under the able leadership of Mr. Bayo Olugbemi and an astute Board of Directors.

•Maintenance of client companies Register of Shareholders which includes change of addresses, Bank mandate, Probate or Letters of administration, Change of names e.t.c.
•Payment of dividend warrants/interest to shareholders/bondholders respectively.
