I have been looking for the time to write about Kanye West who has scattered the internet with his words and claimed to have lost $2 billion in 1 day.
Truth is the truth! There is no blue, black or yellow truth. Kanye was wrong about his statement on George Floyd, and his statement about the Jews.
However, my focus today is not on those two, but about how we as Africans have shot ourselves in the leg and continued to do so.
1. Did you notice, no one cut ties with when he said things about George Floyd? But as soon as he spoke about the Jews, the owners of this world economy cut him off.
How did the Jews become this powerful within a short period of years. Just less than 100 years ago, they where victims and Hi**er killed many Jews. But they strategized and chose to run the world economy. Today, if you say rubbish about the Jews, you're at your own peril.
Why can’t Africans come together and do the same?
2. Why do we derive joy in bringing another African down, because he or she is not perfect when we are more flawed than many of those we seek to bring down?
3. Why don’t we invest in our own businesses? It is true that our businesses are not perfect, so is other tribes. The Jews built greatness over time. There is no race that doesn’t have her own bastards, but they built capacity to manage their narrative and speak positively about their own.
We don’t respect ourselves and no one respects us as a race. We play victims and forget that no one cares about the victims for so long. The Jews took their destinies in their hands, when are we going to do the same?
