Some things aren't just humane; yet the more we look the more we see such inhumanity meted out to some folk. To some of us, in such bitter moment of being assaulted by cruelty meted out to our fellow humans, we wish there's something we could do to change the way things are, if we couldn't stop them.

But in a situation that defies all human control, we can only be careful. Yet, some folk don't care, nor do they think they should, so much that we often leave out the grave inhumanity meted out to blame them, convinced that they have brought it to themselves or, somehow, facilitated it.

On 25/12/2013, the residents of Oloko Close, Ketu, Lagos had woken to the strangest kind of r**e incident. A wrapper, roughed where it was spread, a white garment and underclothes, a reticule and other items were found at a street corner. Whatever had happened to their owner no one could tell. Yet again, similar items were found at Abiola Garden, Ketu this aft'noon. What happened? Maybe night owls have the answer.
