Well before I begin let me first announce to you that none of the 10 roads involve exchanging hours for dollars. True wealth can never be achieved by collecting monthly bread and perpetually depending on the bread Giver. True Wealth is created by sowing Seeds and nurturing that seed until it produces fruits that people will buy.

But regardless of where ever you are right now, you can find a way to combine bread eating and seed sowing.

So I will leave you to let me know at the end which of these roads you will like to take to wealth or Riches.

The Ten Road to Riches was Invented by Ken Fisher.

Road 1: Start your own business:
Starting your own business can create astounding wealth for you. Half of the 10 richest men in the world leveraged this road, including Bill Gates.

Road 2: Become the CEO:
If you must remain in the Corporate world climb the Corporate Ladder to become CEO or Director in a top company

Road 3: Ride Along or a Sidekick.
Never want all the pressure that comes from being a CEO? No problem, just ride along. Find a successful CEO and Visionary, play a critical role in their lives and help them succeed

Road 4: Become Rich and Famous.
Rich and famous is a popular dream. But most rich folks aren’t famous. This road has two types of people; The First is the talented people e.g Tiger Woods or Michael Jackson. The Second is the mogul (an important or powerful person especially in the film or media industry) E.g Ted Turner and Oprah Winfrey.

Road 5: Marry really well
This road is legitimate just in case you are wondering. So feel free to explore this road. This is not about marrying solely for the money but my goodness, doesn’t it help? ” Why not add money to the package?
Seem ridiculous for you? Then this isn’t your road.

Road 6: Steal it legally.
This road is preserved for highly skilled professionals such as lawyers, doctors, and other medical personnel. Their endeavors do not fall under a business rather it’s a practice. These professionals can go on to manage hospitals/law firms with many clients thus building substantial wealth for themselves

Road 7: Manage other people’s money (OPM)
This road is paved with fees from other People’s Money.
Example Include money management, private equity, brokerage, banking, insurance, etc.This road has easy entry. You don’t need a Ph.D. or a brain surgeon’s brain

Road 8: Invent income
Creators of innovative products that are patented can actually create wealth provided the marketplace accepts their idea.
Can you invent an endless stream of future income from something you create or patent that just keeps spewing cash? A gadget, an app, a book, a song, a movie, or even an experience? This Road is for you.

Road 9: Become a Land or real estate Baron.
The world is full of land and real estate moguls. Providing real estate at the medium to large scale level is a money spinner in most countries. A huge housing deficit exists and many see owning a home as an asset.

Like any other roads, it is not easy. Successful land barons do not wake up and start finding the next tasty land or project to invest in. They follow a realistic and actionable business plan that serves as a road-map to guide them.

Road 10: Save hard, invest well
This is the least sensational, but most reliable and most traveled road to riches. Income earners can save a substantial amount of their incomes and invest these earnings into various profitable investment vehicles. These can yield a healthy rate of return. The amount invested has to be retained or reinvested for the returns to be substantial

YOU are a real business owner with real business battle scars in the trenches of the real world. In fact, any small business owner that tries to mimic what the big brands are doing is guaranteed to fail.

As a real business owner, your budgets are tighter, resources are limited, expectations for results are higher, and your risk of failure is bigger. The reality is that a loss of even the most little financial resources hit you hard as you are required to hold every naira accountable for increased profits.

What can you do in a world where recession has become like a regular visitor?

First, you must agree that recession is not the enemy and Government’s own management inefficiencies may never end. The true enemy is the fundamental flaws in your Business. What Recession does is to expose the fundamental flaws in businesses that were always there. just the same way a Storming rain will expose the structural flaw in a building

The real evil, therefore, is not the storm but the inability of the house to withstand the storm. Your Business needs Resilient structures and systems that will withstand the gravitational pull of recession

To compete against recession, Earn 6-figure and 7-figure income, overcome Seasonal income swings and eliminate commoditization disadvantage you have to move away from doing business as usual, weak customers that will bail out on you during a recession, generic products and services, and a vague claim of superiority. You need to think like a "Street Fighter," with clever and shrewd, effective strategies, systems and structures that will stand the taste of time. If you will reorganize and focus on fixing the fundamental flaws in your business, you will thrive.

History is replete with people who have made fortunes during recessions. Some of them include Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard-HP Company; Colonial Sanders now KFC; and W. Clement Stone. These people and many more saw opportunities when everyone else saw impossibilities.

There is a stream of wealth that is flowing around town and it flows to the people who know how to attract it. The reward for courage in these times when everyone else is afraid is massive.
