A candle's wick tells you more than it's body.

The body shows where price settled. The wick shows where it was refused.

A long wick above means buyers pushed to a level and someone with size said no. Every one of those buyers is now trapped and their exits become resistance overhead.

A long wick below means sellers drove price down and were absorbed. Someone wanted those coins or shares badly enough to buy the panic.

The body is the conclusion. The wick is the argument. And arguments tell you who has power.

This is why identical closes can mean opposite things. A close at 100 after touching 105 is weakness. A close at 100 after touching 95 is strength. Same body, different story.

Price is a negotiation. Wicks are the offers that got rejected.
