Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, alongside business magnate *Alhaji Aliko Dangote* , inspected the ongoing construction of the 100.5km Papalanto Shagamu Road.

Papalanto-Shagamu road once completed, will provide a crucial alternative route for commuters from Sango, Iyana Ipaja, and Itori, reducing dependency on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and bypassing Abeokuta to reach the Sagamu Interchange seamlessly.

The governor further highlighted the road’s strategic importance in boosting trade and logistics, as it will enhance connectivity to the Kajola Dry Port, a key hub linked to the railway network connecting Kano and other parts of the country.
