Tap-to-pay in Nigeria just got a stronger backbone🎉.

We’re proud to announce our official partnership with ChamsSwitch, a licensed switching and processing compan. CashAfrica’s tap-to-pay infrastructure now runs on one of Nigeria’s most credentialed switching and processing rail and license.

This partnership connects CashAfrica’s NFC contactless rails with ChamsSwitch’s regulated switching infrastructure, making it faster, more compliant and more scalable for banks, fintechs and merchants to offer tap-to-pay across Nigeria.

For our banking and fintech partners, this means stronger compliance. For merchants, it means more reliable, regulation-grade contactless payments. For Nigeria, it means tap-to-pay adoption just got a real shot at going mainstream.

Contactless payments are not a “nice-to-have.”
They’re the next layer of infrastructure.

Today at Payments Forum Nigeria (PAFON 3.0), our CTO joins the conversation on what it will take to build fair, scalable, and interoperable payment systems across Africa.

From stablecoins to the eNaira, one thing is clear:
the future of payments won’t be built in silos — it will be orchestrated across rails.

At CashAfrica, we’re focused on making that future tangible: real-world tap-to-pay adoption, everyday reliability, and infrastructure that works at scale.

Africa’s payments future won’t be built by copying global models, it will be built by solving for local reality.

Our CEO, Malik Asamu, joins Gary Fowler on the GSD Venture Studios stage to to discuss what it really takes to scale tap-to-pay in Africa: infrastructure, merchant adoption, user behavior, and the realities of building for low-trust, high-friction markets.

At CashAfrica, we’re building the infrastructure layer for contactless payments across emerging markets, with access to a 30 million user pool and a growing ecosystem of partners helping make tap-to-pay a real everyday behavior.

If you’re curious about the future of payments in Africa, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss.

We’re proud to be part of this conversation, and even prouder of the work happening behind it.

Ever wondered how a single tap completes your payment in less than one second? Here's what's powering it 👇

CashAfrica builds the contactless infrastructure that makes it all possible, and here's how it comes together:

For you, 3 steps are all it takes.
1️⃣ Open your bank app or CashMobile
2️⃣ Authenticate with PIN or biometrics
3️⃣ Tap your phone on the POS — done ✅

For banks, fintechs & merchants.
We provide the rails that make that 3-step experience possible through CashTap API, CashMobile App and Merchant Integration
