"O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:"
Psalm 7:1 KJV.
The main theme and message of this Psalm revolves only around one thing.
Where your trust lies.
Where your trust lies is where your strength lies. It also refers to your place of refuge, your place of reliance and of course, where you will find solace. This is the place you look up to in dire times for help.
The bible says, some place their trust in chariots or horses. This is because in the time of war, when you know for sure that your life is at stake, where you put your trust is very important. A soldier would want something that would not only give him an advantage but also what will offer him the opportunity of escape hence the chariots and horses. Where you put your trust is where you put your life, because its a place where you believe your precious life would be safe.
A lot of people call themselves christians, go to church every sunday like clock work, sow into ministries, some are even workers in the ministry, yet at the time of trouble, instead of them calling on God and focusing on Jesus Christ and his finished work on the cross, they run to herbalists, they run to diviners, they look for various options outside God.
Know this, the place you run to at your time of need is where your strength lyes.
There is no middle ground in serving God. Its either you are 100% with him or 0% .
A lot of time, we christians short change our miracle through compromise. Stand firm with God, be decisive about your faith in him, set your eyes like a flint and do not waver.
You cannot go to diviners and herbalist and hope to go give testimony in church, it doesn't work that way. You cannot help God.
Put your trust absolutely in him and he will save you from all those that persecutes you.
Jesus loves you and he is still calling on you. He wants you to come to him wholy with everything and he will give you rest.
