A 79 year old smallholder Cassava farmer, Mama Atim O. Udo was a participant at the recently organized Agribiz Concepts Enterprises (ACE) Capacity Building Workshop on Nigeria Agricultural Enterprise Curriculum/Group Dynamics and Leadership Skills Training (GDLST) at Ikot Okon Akiba, Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State. She along with 49 other smallholder cassava farmers & cooperatives are faced with the challenge of access to technology, market and finance to improve their farm business and livelihood. ACE strives to seek for empowerment/support to these farmers, cooperatives and SMEs in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria before the end of the 4th quarter of 2018.

No. Social entrepreneurship is about doing
good. Social impact must come first, and a
social enterprise’s business model should
be optimized for that impact. If you’re doing
this work primarily to make money, and
think of the social impact as a side benefit,
then you should be running something other
than a social enterprise.
