Occasionally I will sit down and be ashamed of the quality of youths we have nowadays

Just tiktokers without any solid plans, I know this is the time you have to enjoy life and party but it is also the time to lay the foundation for a better future ahead.

But many take it as a time to make all types of different excuses, I don't have money, I am a student, I was born out of a womb, my slippers cut, I have two legs, etc

Today, I had to take transport to school to write my quiz on Equity and Trust. I prefer Keke or shuttle bus ( I can't be caught dead on a bike)

The Keke driver is deaf and dumb and since he can't fully interact with his passengers he has a printed paper glued on the inside of this Keke

It says " Esteemed passenger I can't talk or hear, but I took out this keke on hire purchase so I can have something doing to take care of myself when you reach your drop, tap me on the back and I will stop"

I was motivated by this and I paid more than the amount I was required to as he even played music even when he knows he can't hear the lyrics. I guess he feels the beat and vibrations tho

So dear young person out there please stop making excuses about why you can't go into a business or learn a skill or even a trade

People with have of what you have are taking risks and making plans, So stand up on your feet get rid of excuses, and do something.

If you have a talent, put it to good use either by monetizing it or teaching other people what you can do for a fee.

If you don't have such like me, learn a high-income skill and position yourself to be able to make money anywhere, any day at anytime

Or Work for someone for a fee and then use the money you make to improve your standard of living

Either way quit the excuses and move into action as action takers are future builders

If you mean serious business with anyone never enter their inbox with " Hey", "Hi"

Because there is every tendency that the person won't reply and you will then start shouting to the whole world that Folake is a snub

Even if Folake replies you are going to get a "Hi " in return too and you too will also send in " Hello" again

And it will become a battle of Hello and Hi

Folake wanting to save herself from that stress will now ask you after seeing your hello

"Hi, good morning, how may I help you this morning"

And you will get angry, Are you normal at all

Before you went into the Dms you did not see that it was a business account

Business accounts don't have time for Hello and Hi

So next time you want to officially connect with someone, your message should be short and straight to the point.

Don't beat about the bush, you are not a rabbit my dear

The right format is :

Hi Folake, I have been following you for a while and I want to connect or learn from you, let me know what you think about it in your reply

So if Folake wants she can connect, offer her services or give a befitting reply
