Adeyemo-Adelphilip Olutimi:
HOUSE
Pls permit me to state the following observations and advice to the house especially to our overwhelmingly and emotional colleagues who either in doubt of our genuine stands on commencement of outstanding arrears to all Ex staff.
1. Human programmer not a machine but human being:
I recall that in 2013 August when payment commenced on our severance. The money started dropping one after another into weeks and months. Reason being that the mandated paying banks programmer officer who key in payments is a human being like me and you. Who would be held responsible for any error or mistake on his or her part in the course of carrying out his or her duty as regards this task. On the other hand, this programmer is a utility staff who is intermittently answerable to attend to other important tasks assigned to him or her.
2. It's however imperative that we painstakingly wait for the payment processes to be coordinated appropriately.
In a nutshell, the zenith bank happened to got the first nod to go ahead with payment amongst the 4 banks.
Zenith bank would ensures that its customers are given the first preferential treatment before customers in other banks vice a vise when other mandated banks are giving go ahead to start payments.
3. What is most relevant today is that you and I is the fact that payment has commenced, the going concern is progressive and cannot be hindered anymore. Which in a simple term ends to mischievous thinkers and agents of dichotomy amidst us.
4. Finally, we must do everything possible to ensure that all our colleagues, especially the late families of our colleagues must be contacted for necessary awareness and appreciate advice to enable them access this payment.
5. We must not forget our resolution to give our generous sympathy token of minimum of #10,000 to the family of late Alh. Ado Ahmed's family after you got your alert. Morality for bank details would soon be sorted out to enable us put in our generous token.
