*“HEAVEN HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES”*
I believe we all have heard, if not used this statement a couple of times
As much as people might want to argue that divine assistance is reserved for those who take actions, I personally believe that it is hypocrisy and high level self deceit to think or believe that “HEAVEN HELPS THOSE WHO HELP THEMSELVES ” This statement to me technically erodes the dependency on Grace. And mind you the statement is not scriptural, even though people try to believe it as being in the scriptures.
So what then, should one lay around lazy and expect things just to work?? *NO*
So, this is what it is then; when we have prayed and given God thanks concerning a thing, according to God's will; take steps of Faith, dependent on the grace of God which has made all things available. The steps or actions taken are not based on self reliance, because no one can be self reliant, they are taken in Faith that depends on the Grace of God that flourishes and favours the works of your hands.
