One of the biggest mistakes young people(including me) make is feeling like they have to figure everything out at once.

You have a degree, but you’re learning a new skill. You love writing, but you have other interests. You want to make money, but you’re still trying to figure out what you’re really good at.

So what do you do?

You don’t have to choose between getting a job and building a skill. You can do both.

If you’re currently unemployed, keep building that skill you believe could become something bigger while looking for work. Let the job give you income, experience and stability.

Don’t abandon something simply because it isn’t making money yet.

Everything worthwhile takes time.

First, you have to become good at it. Then become excellent. As you become valuable, monetisation becomes easier.

The skill you’re learning doesn’t have to pay you immediately.

You just need to stop scattering your energy, pick a direction and give yourself enough time to grow.

Don’t quit in the building season because you can’t yet see the harvest.

Everything compounds with time. ❤️

Avoid “see yourself finish.”

Most people underestimate who they are, what they can become, and what they can achieve, sometimes because of how they see themselves, and sometimes because of the negative things people have said to them. Those words can make them see yourself in a negative light and develop a negative mindset about themselves.

But beyond “see finish,” tell yourself: I am more than this!

Surround yourself with people who will speak life into you. That’s why Rich Aunty is here for you. ❤️

Speak life to yourself!

Be ambitious.
Be courageous.
Be audacious.

Align yourself with who God has said you are, and then be more!

You are not small!

Teaching about money goes beyond numbers.

There are people who have been confined by the boundaries they have set in their own minds. Sometimes, what needs to be broken is not a financial limitation, but a mindset, a belief, or a stronghold that has quietly shaped the way they see themselves and what they believe is possible for their lives.

So many women are battling different strongholds and mindsets around money, success, marriage, motherhood, purpose and life in general. And sometimes, the first step to financial freedom is freeing the mind.

One of the ladies at the conference The Elect Lady made a statement that really touched me. It reminded me that there are still so many women carrying these limiting beliefs, and there is still so much work to be done.

She said she felt encouraged and energised because she is a mum and a wife, and since becoming both, she had stopped thinking that it was possible to become MORE.

But seeing other women who are wives, mothers, and still building, growing, achieving and becoming more had shifted something in her.

That is the work.

Sometimes, all a person needs is to see that what they thought was impossible is actually possible.

There are still so many minds to free. So many women to remind that motherhood is not the end of their becoming. Marriage is not the end of their dreams. And the season they are in does not have to become the boundary of what they can become.

My goal is not just to teach people how to manage money.

It is to help them see beyond the limitations they have accepted and realise that MORE is still possible.

If you have ever felt like a season of your life has put a limit on what you can become, I hope this reminds you: you are still allowed to become MORE.

Avoid a scarcity mindset, because it will only focus on limitations and fear. Instead, embrace a mindset of abundance and opportunity. The way you think and speak about money or life can either propel you toward financial success or hold you back.

What you have is enough! You are enough! Don’t joke with the mindset of who you are or what you carry.

Yes, I know the economy is tough and life is lifing, but I need you to shift your perspective and take a good look at what you already have.

Everything you need for life and prosperity is already within you and within your reach. Stop focusing so much on what you don’t have that you overlook what has already been placed in your hands.

Dust yourself, look inwards and not only do your best, do even better than your best with what you already have.
