It's occasionally our Nigerian neighbors who bring up some of the issues we encounter.
Let's stop criticizing the leaders all the time; everyone is crooked. They are at the forefront of corruption, but we also play a significant role in enabling it to spread daily rather than trying to find solutions.
I apologize to some who may find this unbearable, but the reality is that we all need to evolve.
Today, there is nowhere that is safe—not in the classroom, not in the church or mosque, not in our many communities, not in our security forces, and not in any other area.
Observing the church of God, it appears that everyone is now pursuing worldly possessions rather than genuinely praising him.
Pastors are money-hungry, and they constantly preach about how you should give to God and how much better off you would be when you brought a million dollars to give to Him—all the while forgetting to preach about salvation for the Lord's people. It's true that you are powerless over matters of finance. Because they aren't getting what they expected, members suddenly don't want to listen again.
Come to the worst place we have for schooling. They will claim that all you are paying for is development fees at the federal institution, but when you look closer, you'll notice that there are additional development fees.
Come to the worst location for our education. They will claim that all you are paying at the federal university are development fees, but upon closer inspection, you will discover that these fees are in fact more than those of certain private schools. There won't be a supportive learning atmosphere, a decent route, or school amenities to support and facilitate the education of the pupils. So what are you hoping they will do? And you'll start criticizing them when they come out, and you can't defend them in some situations, but you won't hold the school administration accountable for their poor performance in improving the students' learning experiences. How disorganized.
How do they spend the money? Nothing at all, if you may. They simply store it in their bags, but because FG hasn't given them their money, are you going to hold them responsible? Things will only get worse every day. The less fortunate will continue to suffer, and we will continue to delude ourselves that we live in a democracy. Oh, I see. Although there are many challenges ahead, God will provide the means of survival.
Never believe that the world we live in now will be any simpler; rather, it will only get worse. Always be prepared to meet whatever obstacles you may encounter. Not that you shouldn't pray for a better country, but as we continue to serve the Lord, we should constantly be prepared for everything that may arise.
