This time last week, members of the BFS Group of Companies were attending the 10th Annual VivaTech in Paris, France; Europe’s biggest startup and tech event.

From groundbreaking technologies to innovative solutions tackling global challenges, it was exciting to see what the next generation of entrepreneurs is building. We are grateful to VivaTech for creating a space where innovators, investors, and industry leaders from around the world can connect, collaborate, and inspire one another.

The event was also a reminder that investment has the power to create real impact on the ground. Across Africa, access to the right capital is what helps businesses grow, create jobs, solve local challenges, and scale.

We look forward to seeing more of these innovations reach Sub-Saharan Africa and hope to see Namibia represented on the global stage at future editions of VivaTech.

Sometimes all it takes is a few minutes in someone else’s shoes to gain a new perspective.

Last weekend, the Collexia team participated in a blindfolded running event that challenged us to trust, communicate, and rely on others in ways we don’t often think about. More than a run, it was a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and creating spaces where everyone has the opportunity to participate.

What an unforgettable experience!

BFS Fund Manager was proud to host the Blindfolded Running Fundraiser hosted in partnership with Sport on the Move Foundation.

The event gave participants a small glimpse into the challenges and triumphs experienced by visually impaired athletes, while celebrating the incredible achievements of Namibia's Paralympic champions.

A huge thank you to Sport on the Move Foundation for creating such a powerful and engaging event, and to everyone who joined us in supporting a more inclusive sporting community.

Together, we raised awareness, shared new perspectives and celebrated the power of sport to bring people together!

A new chapter begins at BFS Fund Manager.

We are proud to welcome Theopolina Kapani-Emvula as our new Chief Executive Officer.

With a background in civil engineering, project finance, and infrastructure advisory, Theopolina brings both technical depth and strategic clarity. She has worked across Namibia and Europe, and most recently played a key leadership role in advancing Namibia’s green industrialisation agenda.

Her experience in infrastructure development, finance mobilisation, and inclusive growth aligns closely with BFS Fund Manager’s commitment to supporting SMEs and strengthening Namibia’s economic landscape.
