We were reminded that growth doesn’t come from chasing comfort,

What stayed with us most wasn’t a number or a target —

Last year, Michelle became a mother.
Life changed — priorities shifted, energy was stretched, time became scarce.

Yet through difficult clients, complex claims, and growing responsibility,

We planned this trip for five years.
Japan always felt like “one day… when life slows down.” 🇯🇵🌸

But something always came up — MCO, work, no leave.
At the time it felt like delay…
but now we realise it was God’s timing.

In those five years, He grew us.
He led us into this industry,
shaped our discipline and faith,
and gave us a career that lets us serve people well
and still have time freedom to travel together.

By the time we finally got to Japan in 2024,
it wasn’t just a trip.
It was stepping into a time where God had been preparing us all along.

Grateful to walk this journey with a friend
who shares the same faith, goals, vision and drive. 🤍

Every trip reminds us that growth doesn’t just happen in big moments.

God shapes us through the small, ordinary ones — walking a new city, talking honestly, slowing down enough to hear Him.

Shanghai gave us space to see how God has been correcting, comforting, and maturing us.

Leadership stretched us. Friendship refined us. And God kept reminding us that influence means nothing without character.

Different city, same two women learning to trust His sovereignty in every season.
