Life's a crazy rollercoaster, full of surprises and unexpected detours. Who would've thought that I, someone totally unlikely, would end up as a financial strategist? I most certainly didn’t. People call us "agents," but don't worry, we're not the secret 007 agent types. I too used to see “agents” as annoying salespeople who couldn't take a hint. Boy, was I mistaken!
Turns out, we're professionals who have to pass exams to get a legit license. And it doesn't stop there! We have to nail annual tests to keep our license. And contrary to popular belief, it's not all just about sales, though. We juggle recruitment, admin, marketing, and more.
But here's the best part: when clients express genuine gratitude for our guidance, it's like hearing applause at an award show. It warms the heart. You might think this job is all work and no play, but guess what? We get to sip coffee and snack while advising clients in cool cafes. A dream come true for a foodie like me.
Now, I've hopped between careers, but getting paid consistently for 72 months straight per assignment is mind-blowing. Forget yearly bonuses—pay raises can happen as often as paying bills. It's all about performance!
And get this: we're the masters of our own destiny. We set our own work hours and locations. With digitalization, we can work from home about 85% of the time. Work-life balance nailed it!
Promotions are crystal clear. No politics, no heartbreaks. If we hit targets within a reasonable time, we can manage our own agency with a fancy office and all that jazz.
Oh, and the perks! Awards, epic trips, and parties to let loose and unwind. Let’s not even go there.
Look, no job is perfect. There are downsides, sure. But trust me, the pros outweigh the cons on this wild ride. So here I am, ready to embrace the twists and turns—ready to stay.
