Medical Claim case:

Client just bought the insurance policy about 6months time with premium around RM2xx per month.

Client having abdominal pain for 5 days and decide to admit to Sunway Medical Centre on 26 March.

Procedure involved:
1. Doctor consultation with CT scan to diagnose the problem estimate cost told =RM2,500

2. Confirmed appendix inflammation, required laparoscopic appendectomy estimate cost told = RM 15,000

Discharged final bill amounted RM21k on 28 March

Reminder:
With monthly saving of RM 200, it takes 105 month to have RM21k .

Also, RM21k is equal to almost 9 years of insurance premium for a medical plan that cover RM3 million Annual limit.

Appendicitis can come at any age, and as easy as it can be caused by a big laughing during meals.
