If war happens, can we still claim insurance?

Etiqa has clarified:

Claims directly caused by war in affected areas remain excluded under the war clause.
However, losses that occur outside the war zone will be assessed fairly, based on customer-first principles.

Insurance remains essential because it protects us from life’s uncertainties.

At the same time, extraordinary events like war are beyond the control of insurers and are treated differently under standard policy terms worldwide.
