EPF rates for employee back to 11% effective Year 2018

KUALA LUMPUR: The employees' statutory contribution to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will revert to the original 11% for members below age 60, and 5.5% cent for those aged 60 and above with effect from Janauary 2018.

（吉隆坡21日讯）从明年1月1日起，投保社险的雇主必须要使用社险自动化综合系统（ASSIST）网站处理所有注册、更新资料和缴付社险费的所有事务，大马社险机构不再派发8A表格（雇员缴付社险的表格）给雇主。ASSIST网站是社险雇主往后处理所有社险相关事务的唯一平台。社险机构呼吁雇主在ASSIST网站于明年初全面落实前，到社险机构网站下载申请注册表格雇主的ASSIST账号。而本月16日开始，雇主已可以免费申请注册ASSIST网站的账号。大马社险机构主席丹斯里阿昔仄阿末指出，落实ASSIST网站是为了让雇主更安全及便捷地处理社险事务；估计这将会让43万名投保于社险的雇主会员受益。“雇主可通过线上处理
