I was awarded the Institutional Prize by the Institution of Electrical Engineers after graduating with a First-Class Honours Bachelor Degree of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom. In early years of my career, I was a pioneer engineer responsible for transferring of technology from Europe to Malaysia, standardization and optimization of engineering processes in Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), a global leader in power and automation technologies since 1883. I was then awarded the prestige British Chevening Scholarship by the British Government and graduated with a Degree of Master of Business Administration from the City University, London (now known as Cass Business School). I have worked in Salomon Smith Barney, Citigroup of London while staying in London. Prior to becoming a Registered Financial Planner, I had wide exposure in the engineering and project management industry for more than 15 years. I have delivered more than RM60 million worth of private and government projects in the Intelligent Transportation System industry. My last posting was Project Director, Head of Department of Project Management team and Deputy General Manager of a Project Management Office. I am also a passionate runner with compassion for animals. I am a vegetarian ultra-marathoner running up to 100 kilometres. Through running, I have raised funds for The National Autism Society of Malaysia and Dignity for Children Foundation. My passion in running has been featured in various magazines such as Smart Info, Long Life and NewMan in Malaysia. My mission is "to inspire and help people to live a life with love, values and peace of mind" and I believe that “choice, not circumstances, determines our success”.
