How to invest in market like this?

1. If you invested one lump sum at the previous highest peak, after 1.5 years, you would just gain 6.4%. And if you was panicked and sell off before it comes back, you realized your loss.

2. If you stay invested and consistently invest when market drops, knowing it would eventually come back, you will be averaging the costs down and gain more.

I have an investor who turn panic and withdrawn all his investment after President Trump announced the tariff in April 2025, realizing more than 20% losses. But do you know, from the lowest point to the current higher point, the gain is 42.85%.

My advice: Stay invested. As well as you are invested in the right funds, believing market is not going to die, stay put or even invest more, you will gain more than many other investors that panic.

From housing loan application to key delivery 🏡

This client was introduced by my BNI business partner (a property agent). From the very beginning—assessing his income documents, submitting the loan application, all the way to loan disbursement—we stayed in touch for more than half a year.

Throughout this journey, my role was not just to submit a loan, but to make sure he was clear, supported, and never left guessing.

What I helped with along the way:

1️⃣ Explained housing loan facilities, costs involved, and the full process step by step—answering every question along the way.

2️⃣ Acted as the bridge between him and the property agent, helping to align expectations and clear up any miscommunication.

3️⃣ Coordinated with the lawyer for S&P and loan agreement signing, and stayed involved even after signing the letter offer. We kept a WhatsApp group with updates on ownership transfer progress, vendor lawyer matters, and bank side status—so he was always informed instead of waiting blindly for months.

4️⃣ When there was a delay on the vendor lawyer’s side, I personally collected the house key from lawyer at Puchong and handed it to him in Setapak, so he could start renovation without further delay.

5️⃣ Throughout the entire process, I remained the main point of contact—handling communication and requirements between the banker, agent, and lawyer—so everything was well coordinated and the client was always clear on what was happening.

For me, housing loan service doesn’t stop at approval, it continues until the client can confidently hold the key in hand.

All of this support comes at no additional cost, because that’s how I believe professional service should be.

The first red packet of 2026!😁

At first, I was only helping his wife with an insurance claim. In the end, the whole family became friends.

Sometime in 2024, when I was setting up a booth at a hospital, a couple suddenly came up to me and asked if I could help them with a claim. Mdm. Chin was was sick. Her medical card had an annual limit of only RM30,000, and once it was fully used, they had to pay out of pocket. When the new policy year started, they didn’t know how to continue claiming from the insurance.

So I went to their home in Serdang to help them process the claim, and I also taught them how to request a Guaranteed Letter for future follow-up visits, so they wouldn’t need to pay upfront. I went to their place several times to help until they were able to handle it themselves. They were very grateful—treating me to meals and giving me gifts.

After that, they introduced me to help insure their son, and their siblings came to me for will planning. Whenever they had questions about insurance, investments, or wills, they would ask me, and I answered them one by one. One of her sisters had insurance with a small company and didn’t know how to contact them. I helped her find the contact details, and she successfully made her claim too. Later, her daughter-in-law was about to give birth and also bought a policy. Thankfully she did—because after the baby was born, the baby developed a lung infection and was admitted to the NICU for 4 days, costing over RM14,000😱. The BabyCare policy covers ICU/NICU/HDU expenses within the first 30 days after birth.👍

Today I went to see them, bringing along some pineapple tarts made by my mother and a few small gifts, and also to let her fulfill her promise to treat me to a meal. Who knows, they didn't only treated me a meal, gave me gifts, and even a red packet. Totally not expecting at all. It’s really wonderful to meet people with grateful hearts. I also want to continue doing my best to help more people.😊💪
