Boustead Holdings Berhad recently visited the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), one of Thailand’s premier exhibition and convention venues. The delegation was headed by Group Managing Director, Dato’ Indera Ir. Dr. Hj. Ahmad Sabirin Arshad, FASc.
A key highlight of the visit was gaining insights into the transformation of BITEC BURI — an integrated mixed-use development designed to extend the role of a traditional exhibition centre into a dynamic destination that supports both business and community engagement.
The visit provided valuable exposure to BITEC BURI’s vision of creating a destination where people can Work, Live, Eat and Play. By integrating event venues, office spaces, retail and lifestyle offerings, public green areas, sports and entertainment facilities, as well as community-focused initiatives, the development demonstrates how exhibition destinations can remain vibrant and relevant throughout the year, beyond major events and exhibitions.
