PETALING JAYA, 18 March 2026 โ A long-abandoned development affecting over 2,500 buyers is set for a major turnaround as HCK Capital Group Berhad officially appoints Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd as the main contractor to complete Subang Sentral, formerly known as Remix 1. The signing of the RM316.5 million Letter of Award marks a critical milestone in reviving the project, which has been stalled for more than a decade.

The appointment brings renewed hope to purchasers, many of whom have already paid up to 90% of their property value under the previous developer. HCK has committed to completing the project without imposing additional costs on buyers, while also upgrading surrounding infrastructure to benefit the wider community.

Binastra Builders, a wholly owned subsidiary of Binastra Corporation Berhad, brings extensive experience in large-scale residential developments. Its portfolio includes projects such as Causewayz Square @ JBCC, The Address @ Taman Pelangi, and The Queenswoodz in Bukit Jalil. The company has also successfully undertaken turnaround efforts, including rescuing Comintel from PN17 status and revitalising the Empire Residence project.

Subang Sentral forms part of HCKโs broader property portfolio with an estimated gross development value of RM15.0 billion across the Klang Valley. The overall project, to be developed in four phases, is expected to exceed RM1.0 billion in total construction costs.
For Binastra, the contract represents its second win for the financial year ending 2027, bringing its outstanding order book to RM7.1 billion.
