If you’re a Sarawakian parent, this is one benefit you definitely shouldn’t miss 👶✨

Did you know? Since 2019, the Sarawak Government has been providing eligible newborns with a RM1,000 Endowment Fund Sarawak (EFS) as a head start for their future.

That means your child gets their very first “future fund” from birth 😄

This isn’t just a one-time assistance. The fund is managed as a trust fund and continues to accumulate interest until your child turns 18 years old.

The fund may be used in the future for:

🎓 Higher education
💼 Entrepreneurship opportunities
🌱 Supporting your child’s future journey

📌 Eligibility:
✔ Baby must be a Malaysian citizen
✔ Baby must be born in Sarawak
✔ Either parent’s MyKad must have a “K” code

📌 Application deadline:
Submit before your baby turns 1 year old (within 365 days after birth)

💡 Extra benefit:
Eligible mothers can also apply for Bantuan Ibu Bersalin (BIB) and receive RM450 maternity assistance.

其实早在 2019 年，砂拉越政府就已经正式推行 Endowment Fund Sarawak（EFS）计划，为符合资格的砂拉越新生儿提供 RM1,000 成长基金。

简单来说，就是宝宝一出生，政府先帮孩子存下人生第一笔“未来基金” 😄

这不仅是一项援助，更是一份送给孩子未来的长期保障。

与一般一次性现金补贴不同，EFS 将以信托基金方式管理，并持续累积利息，直到孩子年满 18 岁后才能提取。

未来，这笔基金可用于：
