When was the last time you checked these?

𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗮𝘆

Most mornings, we leave home without giving much thought to what the day might bring.

We go to work.
Grab a meal.
Meet people.
Get on with our day.

The recent story of the 73-year-old Singapore hawker is one that made us pause.

A brief encounter at a coffeeshop ended with him falling and suffering a fractured back. His family has shared that doctors have recommended spinal surgery.

Whatever happened that day, it's hard not to think about how quickly life can change.

We spend a lot of time planning for the things we look forward to.

Perhaps we should also give a little thought to the things we hope will never happen.

Not because we expect the worst.

His family tells 8days.sg that surgery for the 73-year-old is the best option. Meanwhile, business at both outlets has surged, with customers bringing the hawker gifts like Salonpas patches, chicken essence and even offering to pay his medical bills.

ONE DAY.

One day, we’ll probably look back and realise that many of the things we worried about never happened.

And some of the things we never thought about… did.

That’s just life.

We can’t plan for everything.

But perhaps we can make a few thoughtful decisions along the way...... while we have the time, the choice and the opportunity to do so.

Some things are worth thinking about before we need to.

Growing up doesn't necessarily make life simpler.

Sometimes, it simply gives us more people to care about.

Maybe that's the real superpower.

⚠️Warning! Haze levels are rising in Sarawak.

Haze levels are increasing across Sarawak, raising concerns about public health.

To protect yourself, limit outdoor activities and avoid prolonged exposure to the haze. If you do need to go outside, consider wearing a face mask. Stay well hydrated during the hot weather, and keep doors and windows closed whenever possible.

Those most at risk such as pregnant women, elderly citizens, young children, and individuals with asthma, lung disease, or any other respiratory conditions are strongly advised to remain indoors as much as possible to reduce exposure to harmful haze particles.

Stay informed by monitoring the Air Pollution Index (API) and follow updates from the local authorities.

On the 25th of July (Saturday), C.S.F Agency hosted a Cash Flow Game session at Wisma Prudential Kuching. From this game session, we managed to see the different types of spenders and their financial habits. Some naturally adopted a more frugal approach, while others were more inclined to spend when the opportunity arose.💸

The session started off with a briefing by Syifa’, who explained the rules of the game and guided the participants throughout the session. As the game unfolded, the session was filled with laughter, moments of suspense, and unexpected twists that challenged the participants to think strategically in overcoming the changing financial situations.

Overall, it was a fun and interactive session that helped our participants to gain a deeper understanding of financial decision-making, wealth accumulation, and the importance of protecting their assets. We would also like to give a big thank you to the participants that joined us for this event and we look forward to seeing you again for our future sessions! 😊
