When life sinks into its heaviest, scariest moments, your instinct might be to shut down, to curl inward, to let the darkness swallow everything. But that’s exactly the moment when you have to choose where you place your attention.
Because even on the blackest night, there is light somewhere, maybe tiny, maybe distant and seeing it requires effort, intention, and hope. The darker it gets, the more deliberate you must be in finding that spark.
In other words, what Aristotle is trying to say is, darkness isn’t the end but it’s the moment where your focus becomes your survival.
