Renewing your roadtax and motor insurance?
Now.... during this MCO period, you must still renew your motor insurance if you still need to drive your vehicle.
But you need not renew your roadtax during the MCO period since the JPJ offices and POS are now closed.
Other than your roadtax, this includes your driving license, puspakom inspection & approval, other commercial licences pertaining to the use of your motor vehicles.
You are given that grace period, during the MCO period plus 30 days thereafter to renew. During this grace period, your whatever licences and approval must be renewed or done. Otherwise, you would be penalized.
Remember.... It is only a grace period to get those licences renewed for when the renewal is actually done, the licence takes effect or backdated to the date of inception stated on the motor insurance.
Then, always remember to bring along your motor insurance (ie., e-cover note) if any of your licenses is already expired.
Stay Home, Stay safe and healthy always....
