今天有一位客户跟我说：
你真的跟其他保险人员不一样，谢谢你的提醒，不然我都不知道原来保费没有扣到。也才发现原来信用卡已经到期了。

现在大家生活忙碌，很多保单都是设定信用卡自动扣款，
但信用卡有可能到期、换卡、limit不够，或者银行系统更新，都会导致扣款失败，而客户自己也未必会第一时间发现。

所以我平时都会习惯帮客户定期检查、提醒和跟进，
不是因为我太紧张，而是希望每一位客户的保障都一直有效。

对我来说，做保险不只是签单，
而是一份长期的责任。
提醒你，是我的工作，也是我对客户最基本的负责。

记得检查自己的保单哟

Today one of my clients told me,
“You are really different from other insurance agents. Thank you for reminding me, otherwise I wouldn’t even realize that my premium didn’t go through, and only then we found out that my credit card had already expired.”

Nowadays everyone is busy, and many policies are set with auto debit from credit card.
Sometimes the card expires, gets replaced, limit is insufficient, or the bank system updates, which may cause the payment to fail without the client noticing it immediately.

That’s why I always make it a habit to help my clients check, remind, and follow up regularly.
Not because I worry too much, but because I want every client’s protection to always stay active.

For me, doing insurance is not just about signing a policy,
it is a long-term responsibility.
Reminding you is part of my job, and also the most basic responsibility I have towards my clients.

《她的故事，或许也会是你的故事》

我相信，大多数人都会觉得：
只要五大保障已经规划好，
人生至少算是有被照顾到。

我们努力生活、照顾家庭、为未来打算，
其实心里都希望——
当需要的时候，会有人、有资源可以接住我们。

她也是这样想的。
她是我的朋友，一位38 岁的已婚妈妈。

她知道我在从事保险、投资，也协助写遗嘱，
但我们很少真正聊到她自己的规划，
因为她一直觉得——
「我的保障已经做好了。」

在她的想法里，
只要把女儿抚养长大，
自己的人生，应该就可以好好地退休。

直到有一天，她很认真地对我说：
「我想看看你们的退休方案。」

根据她的需求，我为她规划了退休方案，
也顺便陪她一起重新检查目前的五大保障。

这时我们才发现，
她的严重疾病保障，其实只保障到 46 岁，
距离现在，只剩下 大约 8 年。

而这份保障，
是在她单身、刚工作四五年的时候购买的，
和她现在的身份、家庭角色，
已经有了一段不小的距离。

这也让我再次感受到——
保障不是买过一次就结束，
而是需要随着人生阶段，定期去了解与调整。

有时候，
我们不是没有规划，
而是在生活往前走的过程中，
忘了回头看看——
当初为自己准备的那把伞，
现在还够不够用。

I believe most people feel that
once the five key protections are in place,
life is at least somewhat taken care of.

We work hard, care for our families, and plan for the future.
Deep down, what we really hope for is this —
when something happens,
there will be someone and some resources to catch us.

She thought the same.
She is my friend, a 38-year-old married mother.

She knows that I work in insurance and investments,
and that I also help with will planning.
But we rarely talked about her own planning,
because she always believed,
“My coverage is already taken care of.”

In her mind,
as long as she raised her daughter well,
the rest of her life
should naturally lead to a comfortable retirement.

Until one day, she said to me very seriously,
“I’d like to take a look at your retirement plan.”

Based on her needs,
I helped her put together a retirement plan,
and at the same time,
we reviewed her existing five key protections together.

That’s when we discovered something important —
her critical illness coverage only lasts until age 46,
which means there are only about 8 years left from now.

This policy was purchased
when she was single and had only been working for four or five years.
It no longer fully matches
her current role, responsibilities, and stage of life.

It reminded me once again that
planning is not something you do once and forget.
It needs to evolve as our lives do.

Sometimes,
it’s not that we didn’t plan.
It’s just that as life moves forward,
we forget to look back and ask —
is the umbrella we prepared back then
still enough for who we are today?

The moment I got her message, I comforted her and immediately helped her submit the claim.

真实的故事，发生在我家

我的小舅——一个六十多岁的单身老人，平常靠散工维持生活。
那天早上，他准备出门上班，像往常一样去厕所洗澡。
突然，他的脚无力、整个人瘫倒在地上。
他还清醒着，却怎么也动不了。

幸运的是，他设法联系到附近的亲戚，被紧急送往政府医院抢救。
医生证实，他中风了——半边身体失去行动能力。

当我们赶到医院，第一次看到舅舅一边哭一边说：
“我也不知道为什么突然起不来了。”
那一刻，我心里真的很难受，也很害怕。

第三天中午，医院通知我们必须办理出院手续。
因为病床有限，没办法再多留。
但问题是——舅舅无家可归。
他只是和朋友合租一间小房间，散工也没有积蓄。
家人们开始四处找地方安置他、安排复健护理、想办法筹钱……

我们被护士骂、被时间催。
每一分、每一秒，都在感受到“现实”的压力。

A True Story That Happened in My Family

My uncle — a single man in his sixties — has always made a living doing odd jobs.
That morning, he was getting ready for work, just like any other day, and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
Suddenly, his legs gave way and he collapsed on the floor.
He was conscious, but his body wouldn’t move.

Luckily, he managed to call a nearby relative, who rushed him to the government hospital for emergency treatment.
The doctor confirmed it — he had suffered a stroke, paralyzing half of his body.

When we arrived at the hospital, I saw my uncle crying as he said,
“I don’t even know why I suddenly couldn’t stand up.”
That moment broke my heart. I could feel his fear and helplessness.

By the third day, the hospital informed us that he needed to be discharged.
Beds were limited, and they couldn’t keep him any longer.
But the truth is — my uncle had nowhere to go.
He had been renting a small room with a friend and had no savings.

Our family started searching everywhere for a place to care for him, arranging rehab, figuring out how to afford it all…
We were scolded by nurses, pressured by time.
Every minute, every second, the weight of “reality” pressed down on us.

Money isn’t everything — but when you have none, can your body really afford to wait?

Sometimes, even a simple hospital or recovery insurance plan
can give you a bit of breathing space when you’re most helpless.

I’m not trying to sell anything.
But after going through this, I truly understand —
accidents and illnesses never wait for you to be ready.
