INTEREST (RIBA) is prohibited in both the bible and the Quran
(Surat al-Baqara, verse 278)
O you who believe be mindful of Allah and leave off whatever is left of Riba.”
(Surat Al-Baqarah, 2:276)
Allah obliterates all blessing from interest and increases generously the reward for charity. For Allah loves no relentlessly unbelieving sinner.”
O you who believe! Be ever God-fearing and forsake all that remains due to you from interest, if, indeed, you are believers.”
(Surat Al-Baqarah, 2:278)
Exodus 22:25: "If you lend money to any of my people with you who is poor, you shall not be like a moneylender to him, and you shall not exact interest from him".
Psalm 15: "He does not charge interest when he lends his money".
