“I’m still young. I’ll do it later.”
My client is only 47 years old, with a wife and two young children. He was experiencing intermittent chest pains and they worsened with time. Even then he was reluctant to get it checked out as he was dedicated to his work in a renowned accounting firm. After much coaxing by his spouse he consulted a Cardiologist. A 70% blockage was discovered requiring angioplasty and a stent. I cannot imagine what would have happened if he would have waited longer. His AIA medical plan settled RM57,281.55 of hospitalisation bills.
