DRUKPA KUALA LUMPUR 天龙·竹巴·吉隆坡 The Drukpa Kuala Lumpur Temple is the headquarters of Drukpa Asia based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Drukpa Kuala Lumpur Temple is the headquarters of Drukpa Asia. It is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia's capital city, a country known for its cultural diversity, colonial architecture, and skyscrapers with busy shopping complexes. Drukpa Kuala Lumpur Temple aims to be accessible to everyone who aspires to enhance their spiritual journey, nurture inner strength, and pursue positive growth of their mind. The late Kyabje Bairo Rinpoche, father of The Gyalwang Drukpa, did the architectural design of the Temple. It is a four-storey building with utility rooms (dining hall, kitchen, and restrooms) on the ground floor, the main Buddha temple on the first floor, the Tara temple on the second floor, and the Buddha Amitabha temple on the third floor.

We rejoice in the completion of our 2 days of prayers at DKL — Guru Rinpoche Day Puja on 22 Aug and Amitabha & Jangchod Puja on 23 Aug 2026. 🪷

During this auspicious 7th lunar month, may all who attended and participated dedicate the merits to their departed loved ones, ancestors, karmic debtors and all sentient beings... praying that the deceased may receive refuge and blessings, be purified of negative karma, attain liberation from suffering and be guided towards a favourable rebirth in Amitabha Buddha’s Pure Land. 🙏

🙏 Rejoicing in the Successful Completion of the Drukpa KL June 2026 Puja Series 🙏

With great joy and gratitude, we rejoice in the completion of the Drukpa KL June Puja Series, comprising the Mahakali, Tsheringma, Naga, and White Umbrella Pujas.

Our heartfelt gratitude to His Eminence Drubpon Khamtak Rinpoche for compassionately presiding over these sacred pujas, together with the esteemed Lopen, Genlas, and Lamas.

We sincerely thank all sponsors, offerers, and supporters for your generous contributions and offerings. We also extend our deep appreciation to the Drukpa KL Committee and dedicated volunteers whose Dharma service, commitment, and tireless efforts made this event possible.
