"I've been contributing premiums each year but I've never claimed, why am I affected as well?"

Over the period of 2021 to 2023, the insurance and takaful industry has experienced an unprecedented cumulative medical claims cost inflation rate of 56%.
This surge, drive n by various factors such as the rising costs of medical treatments, advanced healthcare technologies, and increased utilisation of healthcare services, has made premium repricing an unavoidable measure.

Within a short span of 2 years (2022-2024), 1 Billion increased in claims. The number is shocking. I hope we all can be aware that that medical inflation is taking a toll on all of us too.
