5 Mistakes Malaysians Make When Buying Travel Insurance

Many people only realize the importance of travel insurance when something goes wrong. Here are five common mistakes to avoid:

**1️⃣ Buying based on price only**
The cheapest plan isn't always the best. Check the coverage, claim limits, and benefits—not just the premium.

A client of mine came home to something no one expects. After being away, they returned to find their house partially damaged, the fuse box had caught fire, affecting the main door, living room, and surrounding walls.

The repair cost? Close to RM30,000.
