🚨 This actually happened to one of my clients today.

He got a call saying his loan was approved, but needed to pay stamp duty first before releasing the funds. Sounds legit, right? That's exactly what the scammer wants you to think. Good thing he paused and called me before transferring anything. I guide him to call the bank for confirmation and turns out the loan was never even submitted. Pure scam.

Here's what you need to know: banks do NOT ask you to pay stamp duty upfront for personal loans. Full stop.

Scammers are getting smarter. They create urgency because they know when you're desperate for money, you make fast decisions. That split second of panic? That's their weapon. So if anything feels off — stop. Breathe. Call someone you trust first. That one phone call saved my client from losing his hard-earned money today.
