SIDREC is an independent body established by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) under the Capital Markets
and Services (Dispute Resolution) Regulations 2010 (Regulations) as an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) avenue to settle disputes involving monetary claims between investors and SIDREC members, who are Capital Markets Services Licence holders, or have been registered by the SC for the following activities: -
• Dealing in securities
• Dealing in derivatives
• Dealing in unit trusts
• Dealing in Private Retirement Schemes (PRS)
• Fund management
SIDREC members include banks, brokers, fund management companies, unit trust management companies, Corporate Unit Trust and PRS Advisers, and PRS providers and distributors. The full list of members is on our SIDREC website. Our services are free for investors with claims up to RM250,000.
