Effective 1 January 2027, all new medical expenses Retail Medical & Health products will be underwritten by Generali Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad (GLIMB).​

If you're an existing medical policyholder with Generali Insurance Malaysia Berhad (GIMB), rest assured that:​

✅ Your existing policy coverage and benefits remain unchanged​
✅ GIMB remains your insurer of record​
✅ Eligible policies remain renewable, subject to policy terms and conditions​
✅ Claims will continue to be assessed and paid in accordance with your policy terms and conditions​
✅ No action is required from you at this time​

This change applies only to all new medical expenses Retail Medical & Health products and supports the ongoing sustainability of medical insurance coverage.​

On 5 October 2026, our agency community gathered at M World Hotel, Petaling Jaya, for Driving Excellence: Final Sprint 2026, a day dedicated to celebrating achievements, gaining valuable business insights, and building momentum towards a strong finish to the year.

CEO of Generali Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad, Tony Lin shared the company's strategic direction, business performance, and priorities for the final quarter, reinforcing the importance of staying focused, adaptable, and committed.
