PMB Tijari Berhad (“PMB Tijari”) & PMB Investment participated in the Konvensyen Usahawan Bumiputera 2035 (KUB 2035) held on 27 August 2026 at the RAIA Hotel & Convention Centre, Alor Setar, Kedah. The convention, themed “Bumiputera 2035: Menguasai Ekonomi Masa Depan”, served as a platform for government agencies, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders to discuss the future of Bumiputera economic development.
The programme focused on strengthening the Bumiputera economy through greater participation, ownership, and control in business, while highlighting the importance of digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and women’s empowerment in driving future economic growth. The event also provided opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing, and the exploration of potential business collaborations among participants.
The convention was graced by YAB Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, who delivered the closing address and witnessed the presentation of the KUB 2035 resolutions. Other distinguished guests included YBhg. Datuk Wira Dr. Asyraf Wajdi bin Dato’ Dusuki, Chairman of MARA, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Zulfikri bin Osman, Director General of MARA and YBhg. Tuan Haji Yahaya bin Sani, Group Chief Executive Officer, Mara Corporation Sdn Bhd.
Through its participation, PMB Tijari enhanced its engagement with entrepreneurs, industry players, and strategic stakeholders within the Bumiputera business ecosystem. The convention also enabled the Company to increase its visibility, build new business relationships, and explore potential financing opportunities.
