Dear Valued Clients,

We wish to inform you that our main telephone line (+603-6205 4430) is currently experiencing a temporary service interruption due to an ongoing infrastructure migration from copper to fibre by Telekom Malaysia (TM). This disruption is not limited to our company but is impacting all offices in the Publika complex.

Our Company needs a reliable Accounts Executive who doesn’t mind putting in the extra hours, to ensure that our goals are met. The ideal candidate will be capable of operating our system (UBS and MYOB) with minimal supervision.

He or she should be extremely organized and have great time management skills.

The general function of the Accounts Executive is to support our Company in handling the internal accounting functions as well as to support our Payroll Service to clients.

As this role is essential to the organization, a strong track record from candidate is needed in terms of delivery and proven experience from this field.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling full set of accounts and responsible for performing month-end and year-end closing activities

• Responsible for administering payroll from updating the employee’s data to computation of entitlements including expatriate benefits/allowances

• Responsible for maintaining payroll information correctly and to prepare for EA and E Forms in terms of checking and finalizing the date by liaising with client payroll teams

• Manage the day to day financial and accounting operations including posting transactions and journal entries

• Ensure monthly financial review and reporting within dateline

• Assist in SOP compilation and improving internal control process

• Maintains petty cash; operates a cash register; verifies payments and prepares deposits

• Liaison with IRB and payroll agencies regarding statutory compliance

REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at Bachelor's degree/Professional qualification in Accounting or equivalent

• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the accounting field (UBS/MYOB experience preferred) and a minimum of 2 years Payroll Experience is essential

• Good command of English language

• Committed, team player, hardworking, self-motivated and keen to learn

• Able to work all hours needed to complete tasks

• Past working experience with an audit firm or payroll bureau is a major advantage
