【From August to October: Continuing My Financial Planning Learning Journey】
Professional growth doesn't end after completing one training programme. It requires continuous learning, practical application, and improvement.
Over the past few months, I have been progressing through the AIA Certified FinCoach Practitioner programme.
📘 August 2026
Completed Part 1 (Conventional), passed the examination, and received my certificate.
📗 September 2026
Passed the Part 1 (Takaful) examination and received my certificate.
📚 October 2026
Currently attending the four-day Part 2 (Hybrid) programme, which combines financial planning knowledge from both Conventional Insurance and Takaful.
Beyond classroom learning, the programme includes group discussions and interactive activities, providing opportunities to exchange ideas with participants from different backgrounds and explore financial planning from different perspectives.
To me, insurance is only one part of overall financial planning.
What matters most is understanding each client's financial situation, family responsibilities, future goals, and potential financial risks.
From income and expenses, savings and liabilities, to medical protection, life insurance, critical illness coverage, and future family cash flow needs — every aspect can influence an individual's or family's financial stability.
Everyone's circumstances are different, so financial planning should never follow a one-size-fits-all approach.
Progressing from Conventional to Takaful, and now to the Hybrid programme, allows me to continuously broaden my professional knowledge and perspective.
The purpose of learning is not simply to collect more certificates, but to turn knowledge into practical capabilities.
My goal is to combine my previous professional experience with my growing financial planning knowledge to provide individuals, families, and business owners with more comprehensive and suitable protection and risk management recommendations.
Professional competence takes time to develop, and continuous learning is an essential part of that journey.
Keep learning. Keep improving. 📚
