Market Review
Malaysian stocks fell in line with weakness in regional markets. There were 605 losers versus 451 gainers as investors remained concerned about the level of new COVID-19 cases and the impact of the total lockdown on the economy. MMC Corporation was a top gainer rising 30.0% or RM0.39 to hit limit up after Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar AlBukhary offered to take MMC private. The FBM KLCI decreased by 0.76% to 1,578.45.
