๐ฒ๐พ Did you know? Malaysia was the first country to introduce Shariah screening criteria for digital assets and tokens. That ruling came from the Shariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission Malaysia in 2020.
Since then, institutional interest for digital assets has grown. But a key challenge remains: How do you translate Shariah principles into secure, institutional-grade investment vehicles?
That question sits at the core of what we do at Halogen Capital.
On 19 May 2026, we co-hosted an exclusive roundtable with Jersey Finance in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together over 20 Shariah scholars, fund managers, bankers, and advisors.
The conversation centered on the intersection of digital assets and Islamic finance: How Shariah principles apply in practice, the shape of Malaysia's regulatory environment, and the conditions required for wider institutional adoption.
Thank you Jersey Finance and all our guests for the great session. Looking forward to whatโs next!
