✨ Important Notice for RFP & Shariah RFP Designees ✨
📌 Use of the Titles “Approved Financial Adviser” & “Licensed Financial Planner”
We wish to remind all designees that:
✅ The RFP and Shariah RFP designations are professional qualifications recognized by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC).
⚠️ The title “Approved Financial Adviser” may only be used by a Financial Adviser’s Representative (FAR) approved by BNM under the Financial Services Act.
⚠️ The title “Licensed Financial Planner” may only be used by a Financial Planner (CMSRL–FP) licensed by SC under the Capital Markets Services Act.
👉 If you have not yet obtained the relevant licences from BNM or SC, please refrain from using these titles. Instead, use your rightful designation:
- Registered Financial Planner (RFP)
- Shariah Registered Financial Planner (Shariah RFP)
