According to Insurance Times UK, the demand for insurance premium financing has increased with nearly three-quarters (73%) of SME bosses paying for insurance using credit.

Meanwhile in Malaysia, more and more SMEs are delaying, reducing and even forgoing coverage as their business cash flow gets interrupted by the pandemic.

This being the case, isn't it time for us to offer insurance premium financing as well? Shouldn't we make available Payment Plans designed for SMEs to finance their premiums?

By doing so, policies will be paid on a timely basis which means coverage remains uninterrupted while the SMEs repays the financing over an amortised monthly schedule. This way we ensure that insurance is still accessible and affordable to businesses that requires it.
