✨ My Last Day as an Intern at Dynamic Advisory ✨
And just like that, my internship journey at Dynamic Advisory has come to an end. 🤍
Looking back, I realise that this journey was never just about completing my internship or gaining working experience. It was a journey where I learned, made mistakes, felt challenged, lost confidence, and slowly learned how to believe in myself again.
When I first started, many things were completely new to me. There were tasks I had never done before, and there were times when I made mistakes, struggled to keep up, and felt like I was not good enough. There were even moments when I felt like giving up.
I felt like giving up because I knew I had my own weaknesses too. Sometimes I was forgetful, sometimes I was careless, and there were times when I struggled to feel passionate and motivated about the work I was doing. I knew these were things I needed to improve in myself, and honestly, it made me feel disappointed and frustrated with myself at times.
But somehow, I kept going.
One of the biggest reasons I was able to keep going was because of Mdm Monica. Thank you, Mdm, for every guidance, every correction, every piece of advice, and every word of encouragement you gave me throughout this journey.
Every time I felt like giving up, Mdm always reminded me to keep trying. From that, I learned something that I will carry with me for a long time:
“Before we give up, we should always try.”
It sounds simple, but that lesson means so much to me. Sometimes, when we are tired and disappointed with ourselves, we forget that we are still learning. We forget that making mistakes does not mean we are not capable. We just need to try again.
I will also remember the little things. One of them was when Mdm complimented my handwriting and said it was beautiful. It may have been just a simple compliment, but to me, it was meaningful. Sometimes, we never realise how much a few kind words can encourage someone who is struggling.
Mdm Monica, thank you for believing in me, especially during the times when I struggled to believe in myself. Thank you for being patient with me, for teaching me, and for never making me feel that my mistakes were the end of the road.
I may forget some of the tasks I did here, but I don't think I will forget the lessons I learned and the people who made this journey meaningful.
To Dynamic Advisory, thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn and experience the real working environment. Every challenge, mistake, lesson and little achievement will always be part of my growth.
And to myself, thank you for not giving up.
This may be my last day as an intern, but the lessons I learned here will stay with me long after I leave.
Some places give us experience, but some people give us lessons that stay with us for life. I’m grateful that my internship gave me both. 🤍
