The Memorandum of Transfer (MOT) is the legal document that officially transfers property ownership from the developer or seller — to you.

No MOT = the house is not legally yours yet. 🏠

And yes, it comes with a stamp duty cost — calculated based on your property price:
✅ First RM100k → 1%
✅ RM100k–RM500k → 2%
✅ RM500k–RM1M → 3%
✅ Above RM1M → 4%
