🚨 PENJELASAN APAD BERHUBUNG POSTER BILANGAN PENUMPANG PERKHIDMATAN E-HAILING 🚨

Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat (APAD) ingin menegaskan bahawa kenyataan dalam kedua-dua hebahan berkaitan “Poster Bilangan Penumpang yang Dibenarkan Untuk Perkhidmatan E-Hailing” adalah kurang tepat dan bukan dikeluarkan oleh Kementerian Pengangkutan (MOT) mahupun mana-mana agensi di bawahnya.

APAD juga ingin menegaskan bahawa bilangan tempat duduk bagi sesebuah kenderaan perkhidmatan e-Hailing adalah tertakluk kepada bilangan tempat duduk yang telah diluluskan oleh Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ), selaras dengan Akta Pengangkutan Awam Darat (Akta 715) dan perkara 6.2(b), Garis Panduan Perkhidmatan E-Hailing di Bawah Perniagaan Pengantaraan SPAD Bil. 2 Tahun 2018.

Antara ketetapan yang perlu dipatuhi adalah:
✅ Kenderaan e-Hailing hendaklah mempunyai empat (4) hingga sebelas (11) tempat duduk termasuk tempat duduk pemandu; dan
✅ Bilangan penumpang yang dibawa tidak boleh melebihi bilangan tempat duduk penumpang (tidak termasuk tempat duduk pemandu).

Sebagai contoh:
🚗 Proton Saga – 5 tempat duduk termasuk pemandu yang diluluskan oleh JPJ → maksimum 4 penumpang.
🚙 Toyota Innova – 7 tempat duduk termasuk pemandu yang diluluskan oleh JPJ → maksimum 6 penumpang.

APAD menyeru semua pihak agar mendapatkan maklumat berkaitan perkhidmatan pengangkutan awam darat melalui saluran rasmi Kerajaan bagi mengelakkan kekeliruan dan penyebaran maklumat yang tidak tepat.
