MIA Johor Regional Committee would like to thank everyone who participated in our complimentary webinar, ESG in Financial Reporting Impact to Johor Corporates, on 26 November 2021. We hope all of you benefited from the session.

Manohar Benjamin Johnson, MIA Johor Regional Committee Member cm Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers PLT, for giving us an opportunity to understand the Landscape (including Climate change) and Stakeholder expectations, the Role of UNGC to promote ESG in Johor, Sustainability reporting: views of standard setters, Financial reporting and auditing implications as well as the Role of Boards and finance function.

Edey Suresh, Johor State Director from UN Global Compact Network Malaysia and Brunei (UNGCMYB) shared with us the current ESG impact to Johor and the role each of us can play in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

It was a great webinar, which provided awareness of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters that impact MIA members in Johor by sharing the latest global updates.
